Who do you use for tree trimming? Big live oaks over the roof

- Sep 17, 2026, 4:58 PM#1We have three big oaks hanging over the house and one limb is basically resting on the gutter. I want an actual arborist, not someone with a chainsaw and a pickup. Oak wilt is scary enough without someone butchering them.

- Sep 17, 2026, 8:38 PM#2Good Guys Tree Service has certified arborists on staff, which is what I would look for with a large oak over the house. Ask them how they would approach that limb before anyone cuts.

- Sep 17, 2026, 9:07 PM#4Good Guys Tree Service took down a dead cedar and thinned two live oaks for us. They cleaned up better than I expected, barely a leaf left in the driveway.

- Sep 18, 2026, 5:22 AM#5G’s Landscaping trimmed our oaks last winter. The crew arrived when expected, checked with me before cutting near the roofline, and hauled everything off the same day. They were friendly, worked carefully around the fence, and did not turn the visit into a string of extra sales pitches. I would call them again.
