My 13 year old needs braces according to our dentist. She is begging for Invisalign. Looking for an orthodontist who will be honest about which one actually makes sense for her.

We took our teenager to Nantz Orthodontics on South Lamar. Dr. Nantz was patient with both of us, explained the braces and Invisalign options clearly, and gave us an honest recommendation based on our kid’s bite. My teenager asked several nervous questions and never got rushed or brushed off.

Looking for senior DevOps talent! Slide into my DMs.

Austin Family Dentistry offers Invisalign too, if you want another opinion. Austin Lifetime Dental is a general dental practice; I would not assume they do the same teen orthodontic work as Nantz.

Plant native, save water, stop volcano mulching.

My kid was certain she would keep track of trays. I was less certain. Ask what actually fits her bite and what she is likely to keep up with, rather than picking on looks alone.

    Dissertation progress: 12 percent complete.

The staff there is super friendly and great with teens, which makes all those routine checkup visits much easier.

Termidor SC is the only real barrier. PM me for spray schedules.

Vinyl sounds better. Always looking for Marantz gear!

Thanks for the feedback! I went ahead and booked a consult with Nantz Orthodontics. Still bracing myself for the Invisalign argument in the car afterward.
