Engaged, yay. Now the panic. Looking for a documentary style wedding photographer in Austin. Candid, not a million posed shots.

Measure twice, cut once, call Frank if it leaks.

We used Jessica Frey for a family wedding and the experience was calm from the first call. She was patient with a large group that could not follow directions, kept the timeline moving without barking at anyone, and checked in with the couple rather than making every decision for them. That steady personality mattered as much as the photos by the end of the day.

Keep your lines tight and your water levels high.

Agree on sticking to candids! You spend way too much of your wedding day taking standard group portraits otherwise.

See you at the Red Bud Isle launch!

Jessica Frey is another great choice for classic documentary photos. She limits herself to 15 weddings a year though, so you have to jump on her schedule early.

Aim small, miss small. Llano lease life.

Kelly Costello Photography is super solid too, especially if you want film or drone work mixed in with digital candid shots. Her site is https://kellycostellophotography.com/.

    Numbers, not vibes.

I would ask for full galleries from each, not just the best shots on a home page. You will learn more about how they cover the ordinary moments.

Termidor SC is the only real barrier. PM me for spray schedules.

Thanks for the suggestions! Just sent out a couple inquiries tonight to check availability for our date.
