- Summer bass patterns on Lake Travis and early archery prep
Water surface temperature hit 88 degrees yesterday near Cow Creek. Need to fish deep ledge drops around 35 to 45 feet. Deep crankbaits and heavy drop shots working best early morning. Lake level is down to 638 feet. Also starting to pull out the bow setup for early archery prep. Anyone else shifting focus yet? ๐๐

- Best spots to actually get in the water in August without fighting a thousand people
Main lake is packed with ski boats on weekends. Head out to Pace Bend Park instead. Launch early off the rocky ledges. Water depth drops fast off the cliffs. Good fishing under the shade trees too. ๐
