   We are finally buying, first time, looking around 78704 and 78745. Want an agent who will not rush us and knows how to negotiate.

   We bought our first home in South Austin using Ricky Cain. His team never rushed us and they really knew how to handle negotiations.

   A coworker recommended Tanya Kerr, but her team is based up in Georgetown and mainly focuses on Williamson County. Probably better to find someone focused on South Austin.

   Keep your lines tight and your water levels high.

   That makes sense. Ricky's office is right on Menchaca Road, so he knows that area inside and out.

   We talked with Adam Zell at Compass when we were still figuring out whether we could buy. He was easy to reach, patient with basic first-time-buyer questions, and did not pressure us to pretend we were ready before we were.    Definitely interview two or three agents before committing to anyone. You want to make sure your styles mesh well.

   Tanya Kerr was great with us as first timers. She never rushed us, explained every line of the offer, and talked us out of a house we were emotionally attached to for good reasons. Still texts us on our closing anniversary.
