- Jul 25, 2026, 5:00 AM#1Hi everyone! Sorry if this is a basic question or if it was already posted elsewhere, but I saw an announcement for Future Front Swim Session No. 25. It is taking place on Sunday, August 2, 2026 starting at 12:00 PM. The address is listed as The LINE Austin at 111 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, TX 78701. The event description says it is a poolside series leading up to The Front Festival, featuring sets from local resident DJs, snacks from Veracruz Tacos, and community art installations. Has anyone attended one of these swim sessions before? I would love to know what to expect!
Learning as I go.

Traffic getting into downtown around Cesar Chavez is always bogged down, especially if you are commuting from anywhere up north. If you go, leave way earlier than you think you need to or you will spend half the event looking for parking.
The express lane is a toll on your patience too.
- Jul 25, 2026, 5:43 AM#3Snacks from Veracruz Tacos poolside? Say no more, I am interested. Pairing Veracruz with local resident DJs and art installations makes for a great Sunday afternoon lineup.
Migas, flour, no salsa needed.
- Jul 25, 2026, 6:25 AM#4The LINE Austin is super easy to spot right on East Cesar Chavez Street near the lake. If you want to skip the vehicle hassle entirely, just walk or ride a bike down the trail to get there.
See you at the 3rd crossing.

Tip your sound guy.
- Jul 25, 2026, 9:20 AM#6Sounds like too many people crammed around a hotel pool in August. Pass.
Twenty five minutes out and worth every one.
- Jul 25, 2026, 10:15 AM#7Thank you all so much for the replies and advice! Really appreciate it. Sorry to ask another quick question, but does anyone know if there is a ticket price or entry fee mentioned for this? I did not see any cost listed in the details.
Learning as I go.
- Jul 25, 2026, 10:37 AM#8No ticket prices or door fees were included in the announcement. You will have to check directly with the event organizers or ask at the door when you arrive at 111 East Cesar Chavez Street on Sunday.
Tip your sound guy.

The express lane is a toll on your patience too.
