Sorry if this is a basic question, but I moved here last year from Chicago and haven't been to UT's campus for an event yet. Is it difficult to get into the Moody Center for a Friday night event? I really want to check out the Team Series bull-riding competition since it is described as a weekend-long hometown crowd showdown, but I do not want to get stuck in gridlock.

- Anyone heading to the 2026 TXSFL Redemption Bowl & All-Star Game at Nelson Field?
Sorry if this is a silly question, I moved here last year and haven't been to Nelson Field yet. Does anyone know if the live performances happen before or after the championship matches? I want to make sure my family arrives at 7105 Berkman Drive at the right time, but 3:00 PM in mid-August sounds extremely hot!

- Road to Lone Star Le Mans Racing Fanfest at Branch Park Pavilion
Sorry if this is a silly question, I just moved here from Chicago last year and I am still figuring out how events work around Mueller. Does anyone know what the parking situation is like near Branch Park Pavilion on Aldrich Street? I really want to take my kid to see the official Le Mans race car displays and try the racing simulators, but I am nervous about where to park.

Thank you all so much for the helpful details, and sorry for asking about basic stuff! I will definitely plan to arrive extra early to handle the Research Boulevard traffic and parking. It is great that the profits are going to support Jordan "JoJo" Saint's family.

- Pandemonium Pro Wrestling show at Pinballz Lake Creek in August?
Sorry if this is an obvious question, but I just saw a post about Pandemonium Pro Wrestling: JoJo happening on Sunday, August 2, 2026 at 2:00 PM. It is being held at Pinballz Lake Creek at 13729 Research Boulevard. Has anyone been to an event like this at that venue? The description says there will be over 30 pro wrestlers and 12 matches making their Texas debut. It is a charity memorial event with profits supporting the family of wrestler Jordan "JoJo" Saint, which sounds really wonderful. I just am not sure what to expect layout-wise.

Thank you all so much!! adding the bicycle festival on aug 1 at noon and the racing fanfest on aug 15 at 10am to our calendar right now. both sound perfect for my boys and saving money before back to school shopping is huge. will definitely pack tons of water and ice towels for the heat!

I moved here last year from Chicago and haven't been to this venue yet. The address is 310 West Willie Nelson Boulevard, Austin, TX 78701. How early should I plan to get downtown for a 7:00 PM show on a Monday? Is parking a nightmare right around there? Thanks in advance for helping out a newcomer!

August is coming up fast and i am already running out of ideas to keep my two boys entertained before school starts back up. everything in this city costs a fortune now for a family of four. Are there any FREE or cheap kid friendly things going on in august that won't cost me $100 just to step out the door? outdoor stuff is fine if there's shade, but august heat is no joke. thanks in advance!

It is taking place on Sunday, August 2, 2026 starting at 12:00 PM. The address is listed as The LINE Austin at 111 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, TX 78701. The event description says it is a poolside series leading up to The Front Festival, featuring sets from local resident DJs, snacks from Veracruz Tacos, and community art installations. Sorry to ask a basic question, I moved to North Austin last year and I am still learning where everything is. Is the Asian American Resource Center mostly an indoor facility or outdoor venue? Also, does the announcement mention if the fashion shows and live music performances are happening both days or just starting on Friday? Thank you in advance!
