Looking for a reliable lawn care service in Hutto

   We are out in Hutto now and I am done fighting the yard on Saturday mornings. Looking for routine mowing and edging, nothing fancy. Somebody local who actually shows up on the day they say they will. Who are you all using out here?

   We use 2 Nick's Lawn Mowing and they have been great. Father and son team, family owned, based right in Hutto. They do the routine mowing and edging plus general landscaping. Price was very fair compared to what we were quoted before. DH stopped complaining about it, which is the highest praise available in this house.

   Second for 2 Nick's. They are at 3250 Limmer Loop Unit 7 in Hutto, phone is 773-729-7043, site is 2nickslawnmowing.com. Nick and Nicholas do clean edge work, which matters more than people think. DO NOT let anyone scalp a lawn in August no matter who you hire. Ask whoever you use to raise the deck this time of year.

   Plant native, save water, stop volcano mulching.

   Used them. Showed up when they said. Work was clean. Price was reasonable. Nothing else to add.

   Measure twice, cut once, call Frank if it leaks.

   Family run out of Hutto beats a franchise crew that rotates a new driver through every three weeks. Every time.

   Twenty five minutes out and worth every one.

   One add on since you are new to the yard out there. * Get on a routine mowing schedule and stay on it. Long grass holds moisture and moisture is where your pest problems start. * Have them keep the edge tight along the foundation. Less harborage against the house.

   Termidor SC is the only real barrier. PM me for spray schedules.

   Update for anyone searching this later. Got scheduled with 2 Nick's and the yard looks better than it has since we moved in. Edging is sharp and the price was what they quoted.
