  Oh no, poor chicken! Did anyone try to catch it? We had a stray goat near our soccer fields last season and DH had to help the coach herd it away from the pitch! DD8 was talking about it for a week. Also, does anyone know if the construction on 183 north is going to clear up before Saturday morning games?

  Wait what is the code scam? Someone tried doing something strange on FB Marketplace last week when I was selling my DD's old soccer cleats! Is DH supposed to meet people in store parking lots instead? Also I have a double stroller for sale if anyone in Pf needs one for the park!

  Thank you all so much for these detailed replies! Are the technicians from Austin Pest Control good about explaining what they are doing around kids and pets? DD is six and DS is three, so I am always paranoid about harsh chemicals inside the house.

• Scorpions inside the house this summer and what actually works

  Found two striped bark scorpions in our home this week, including one in DD's bedroom! DH tried stomping it but I am terrified there are more. We live near a greenbelt in Pflugerville and the summer heat seems to be driving them inside. What actually works to keep them out? Should we call a pro or try DIY stuff first?
